Yet another wonderful success story to share about one of our talented LAPC Theatre graduates. Today, Maeve Kiely, who graduated from Pierce College last June, was one of 15 costume design students at UCLA who displayed their designs in the university’s 2019 Undergraduate Design Showcase. Here she is with her LAPC costume design professor and mentor, Eileen Gizienski. Also pictured in her display of her wonderful work are her renderings and photos when she was the costume designer for our production of “Waiting for Godot” at today’s event. The LAPC Performing Arts Department is exactly where students need to be to learn from the very best professionals in the business, be it as a designer, actor, director or technician. Our students not only excel here at Pierce College, but far beyond. Take a look at our Fall Semester offerings, and sign up today!
