LAPC Theatre is incredibly proud to announce that one of our students, Presley Jacobs, has made it to the Finals of the Design and Technology Exhibition in the 54th Annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in recognition of her Sound Design for LAPC Theatre's fall, 2021 production of "The Importance of Being Earnest." The DTE gives outstanding student designers the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Regional Festival, as well as the chance to attend the KCACTF National Festival. Throughout the Festival the designs are being critiqued by theatre professionals on the bases of quality, effectiveness, originality, and rendering techniques. The winners will be announced Friday evening, Feb. 11 in a virtual awards ceremony. Congratulations and best wishes to Presley!!
