Today we continue to feature some of our Pierce College Theatre students who are transferring to universities and colleges or have been involved in productions/internships or theatre programs in the area. Congratulations and best of luck to Janel "JJ" Javier, who has been accepted at USC where she will study design. JJ as been an invaluable part of our theatre department for the past few years and has participated (as an actor, designer or crew member) in numerous productions over the past three years. Her acting credits at LAPC Theatre include "In The Heights," "Hookman," "Facing Our Truth" and "The Bomb-itty of Errors." She was also featured in our student theatre club's production of "In Love and Warcraft," for which she was nominated for an Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship at the 53rd Annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. At the competition, she ultimately was recognized with a Christopher Clark Classical Acting Award. JJ was also a founding member of "The Journeymen," Pierce College's Student Theatre Club. Most recently she began an internship with LA's nationally renowned East West Players. Way to go, JJ!! We will miss you and wish you nothing but continued success as your journey continues!

Willkommen. Bienvenue. Welcome to the Kit Kat Club. In here, life is beautiful. Here in this decadent sanctuary, artists and performers, misfits and outsiders rule the night. Step inside their world. This is Berlin of the 1930s. Relax. Loosen up. Be yourself.
