Beginning this week, we are featuring some of our Pierce College Theatre students who are transferring to universities and colleges or have been involved in productions/internships or theatre programs in the area. Today we congratulate both Michael Kendrick and Olga Khitarishvili, both of whom have been accepted to the theatre program at UC San Diego. They'll be joining another of our former students, Alexa Maris, who transferred to UCSD in 2020. Michael was seen in our 2020/2021 productions of "Honor" and "The Bomb-itty of Errors" as well as the LAPC Student Theatre Club's production of "In Love and Warcraft," for which he was nominated for an Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship at the 53rd Annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Olga was seen two seasons ago in LAPC Theatre's production of "Hookman," and has worked backstage on several productions, including "The Bomb-itty of Errors," for which she served as Asst. Stage Manager. Best of luck to both Michael and Olga!! And say hello to Alexa for us!
