Los Angeles Pierce College Theatre is a dynamic, transformative program with multidisciplinary classes, award winning productions, diverse stage opportunities, hands-on experience, and industry internships. Our curriculum is a two-year program offering an Associates of Arts degree and an Associates of Arts Transfer degree with specializations in acting, technical theatre and costume design. We train the next generation of theatre artists at LAPC Theatre.

Georgia: An Original Devised Theatre Production

Directed by JP Evans Dow Arena Theatre Dec. 5- 14, 2025

LAPC Theatre presents a new play created, produced, and performed by LAPC Theatre students. Georgia follows a 13-year-old girl struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder, and her father’s struggle to save her life. Based on a true story, the play explores themes of self-image, loss, and the power of a parent’s love.

Congratulations to our LAPC Theatre student award winners, who were honored tonight at the 2021 Pierce College Student Awards Banquet (via zoom):

JJ Javier and Roya Row (co-winners of the Robert Baker Award for Overall Achievement and Academic Excellence); Sherry Irani (Odis Ball Award for Outstanding Achievement in Technical Theatre); Rachel Logan (Ellen Dow Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theatre); Michael Kendrick (Jane Hawkins Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting); Norman Thatch (RoZsa Horvath Award for Outstanding Achievement in Ensemble Acting). Special kudos to these talented students who not only persevered but excelled through a very challenging year.
