We at LA Pierce College Theatre are elated to announce that a record FOUR of our student actors have made it to the Finals of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's Region 8 Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Awards!!
Congratulations to Monique Garcia, Janel "JJ" Javier, Emmanuel Odaibo and Kayvan Shaikh, all of whom were chosen from their work in our 2020 productions.
The Irene Ryan Acting Scholarships provide recognition, honor, and financial assistance to outstanding student performers wishing to pursue further education. The Irene Ryan Foundation awards sixteen regional and two national scholarships annually. The winner will be announced tomorrow evening, so WATCH THIS SPACE!! Congratulations to all of our AMAZING students!!!
